This month we are whisking you away to Italy, the particular region of Puglia, featuring the fine wines of Tormaresca!!
Puglia is “the heel” of the boot of peninsular Italy. It is bordered by both the Adriatic and Ionian Seas, giving it one of the longest coastlines of any region in Italy. Puglia is also one of the most fertile regions in all of Italy, on a par with the Po Valley. Olive trees, wheat, and vines cover the territory of Puglia like a colorful patchwork. Chef Alvin Williams and Sommelier Arden Allen have tasted and selected some of these delicious wines. We are excited to present them to you in this fabulous 6 course food & wine pairing. Amanda Einhorn of Republic National Distributing Company will be on hand with photos of baby Ella. Victoria Pons-Strigari, Representative of Antinori Estates will also be with us.
